This course is specifically for the English Law Journal Editors and those who are interested to become an editor in our English Law Journal and possibly when you go to the US law schoos. Students will learn how to edit a law review article. Bluebooking and reference checking and other editing skills will be introduced. These skills can be applied to your thesis writing. Additionally, research and thesis writing is the focus of this course. Students will learn the process of thesis writing, including drafting a proposal, doing research, deciding topic of your thesis and incorporating the editing skill into writing. Students will have opportunity of group learning as well as one-on-one or one-on-two interview. All the course material, assignment could be in English but course instruction will be in Mandarin. Students will also learn the importance and rules of academic ethics and to avoid academic misconducts.
